Jon & Lauren's Barn at Locust Hill Wedding

This wedding was definitely a labor of love! The bride's family built this barn on their farm for their wedding, and for many more weddings in the future. It's an exquisite large venue, with a wonderful wooded ceremony area, and a pond. Inside the barn is light wood interior walls, with enough space to fit over 300 guests and still have plenty of room. With large glass doors you get lots of natural light, and when opened, enough fresh air for a nice summer day.

Enough of the barn, let's talk wedding! The morning was a little iffy with rain, we got all set up for the first look, and literally as the groom was walking up (before seeing her) it started to pour, which led to us running in! We did finally get the first look and all the other photos, and then made our way to the barn. For an August day the temperature in the 70s was quite nice! Their ceremony was pretty with the sun rays just coming over the tree line. Guests mingled outside for the cocktail hour and then we got the party going inside come dusk. It was a great night for a wonderful couple. I wish them the very best!
